It all started on October 11 2015 when Lee swiped right for Rachel on Coffee Meets Bagel. They quickly hit it off with Rachel’s tagline “Nice Jewish girl who can cook and clean” and were talking non stop. They both knew that they wanted to meet and a week later they had their first date at Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester. It was soon after that Lee and Rachel knew they had something special. They spent their weekends traveling back and forth from Philadelphia and West Chester while finishing their senior year of college. 

Together they’ve spent several holidays with each other and their families , traveled to Israel, celebrated graduations and new jobs, fell in love with new nieces and nephews, quarantined for 3 months together, and bought a house. 

On June 21st 2020, Lee and Rachel had plans to spend brunch with Rachel’s family for Father’s Day and dinner with Lee’s family. As they were leaving to go to Rachel’s parents, Lee said they were going to stop at a park and do a tik tok with one of the girls Rachel babysits for. 

As they got out of the car at the park, Lee led Rachel up a path of roses to a pagoda with a banner that said Marry Me with pictures through the years. Rachel and Lee immediately started crying. He got down on one knee and proposed right then and there. As they stood up and embraced each other, 2 photographers came out from behind the trees where they were snapping photos the whole time. 

After they took some more candid photos, Lee drove them back to their house where both of their families were hiding for brunch and celebrations. Together they planned a fall wedding with all of their friends and family. They look forward to a lifetime full of love, laughter, happiness, and health.
