We met in 2015 at our church in Carmel Valley's youth group. During our time in youth and leading worship together, we became close friends through our love of music and shared values.

It wasn't until 2022 that Ethan finally gathered the courage to ask me out (via a rather awkward text conversation). It was the beginning of something wonderful, though neither of us could have imagined just how much our lives were about to change.

During our courtship, we did a lot of traveling as well as two missions trips to both Albania and Thailand where, as well as growing in our own faith and as people, we also grew in our relationship and trust in each other through the ups and downs of ministry life.

In March 2024, Ethan proposed in the meadow in Carmel Valley where we had shared our first date. He made the day unforgettable, filling it with my favorite things and ending with a picnic where, after we ate, he popped the question. I (of course) said yes!

From that first friendship so long ago to now, God has truly blessed us, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. We’re so grateful for the journey that has brought us here and for the many adventures still to come.
