It was the winter of 2022 and I was healing from a summer heartbreak. I went online to find someone to talk with and found Chris. At first glance he was incredibly handsome with a charming smile and mesmerizing blue eyes, so I swiped right. Immediately a notification popped up saying that we were a match. Fast forward 3 months and I had lost track of how many times Chris had asked me out on a date. Each time I turned him down, but he was persistent. After almost 4 months of talking with each other, we had our first date. We clicked immediately. I was incredibly shy and he was incredibly patient. Right off the bat, he laid on the charm; I felt like I had my own personal Casanova. Being around Chris felt like I was around the sun – warm and full of life. He made me feel bright and hopeful, he brought out the best in me and accepted the worst of me.

After meeting each other’s parents and getting their approval, Chris officially asked me to be his girlfriend on April 15th (aka Tax Day). From that day forward, we have been inseparable. We are both travel bugs and have made an effort to take multiple trips together. I knew there was a strong possibility for a future when we spent over 8 hours in the car together traveling and I didn’t want to pull my hair out.

Chris has supported me and my family through the good times and the bad, including multiple deaths. It didn’t take me long to fall for him. The realization that I was falling in love with him struck me when I realized

that I prayed for him more than I prayed for anyone else. On December 25th of 2023, Chris proposed and I couldn’t say yes fast enough. Since then, our love has grown tenfold and I am often overwhelmed by the fairytale that is now my life. Chris is my soul mate and I am beyond excited to start our lives together!

Our story starts near the end of 2022, I had just got out of a long relationship and started reconnecting with family and old friends. I went online to meet new people and I found Rachel. I thought she was beautiful and elegant with beautiful eyes and a great smile. I swiped right hoping we would connect. After some time had gone by and I got a notification that we had matched. Once we started talking I knew I had to meet her. Every time I asked her out she would kindly decline, but I was persistent. Finally, she accepted and we met for our first date on January 22, 2023. We connected immediately. She was very shy and adorable. It felt as if she was starstruck by me. It was a feeling I had never before. She made me feel important and that I mattered, like I was the only person on the planet. I would tell her how I saw her and how she made me feel, heavily laying on the charm you could say. After continuing to see each other in person, I got the nerve to ask her to be my girlfriend. She happily said yes!

From that day on we didn’t want to go a day without each other. After taking several trips together I found that I loved traveling with her and exploring new places. As most adventures do, we had some unexpected turns, but we got through them together. Rachel also helped me reconnect with God and I am eternally grateful.

I fell in love with her early on, but the more that time went on I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and start a family together. On December 25th, 2023 in front of her family and my mom, I popped the question and she couldn’t have said yes faster. Since then my love for her continues to grow every day. She makes me feel complete. She is my soulmate, my life partner, and my best friend!
