Please note that the wedding venue Tlaquepaque is in a popular shopping area and is usually congested. Parking will be limited. Give yourself plenty of time if you are driving to it.

3. HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS SEDONA-OAK CREEK (928) 284-0711, 6176 AZ-179

Easily accessible to the venue by car (12 minutes). It has stunning views of Bell Rock and is close to wonderful trails. Free Breakfast and good reviews. Oak Creek has other hotels as well that may also be more affordable. Website rates start at $250/night.

The website rate was better than the “wedding rate” when I last checked. No deadline to reserve.

Also within walking distance: THE INN ABOVE OAK CREEK (928) 282-7896 short, easy walk to the wedding venue (.3 mi.) Older cozy boutique hotel on the scenic creek. Limited mountain views. Room rates vary from $190 -$360. Breakfast & Parking

AIR BNB’s: We stayed in a residential area just west of historic Sedona, north of Hwy 89A, and found it very safe, convenient, and relatively affordable. There are many trailheads in this area.
