We encourage all guests to dress Texas business casual/western! Please wear dark wash jeans and a nice shirt for men, and floor length, tea-length, or midi dresses for women. We also encourage wearing boots, buckles, and hats! When choosing your attire, we would like to reserve some specific items for the wedding party. Men: Alex will be wearing a dark brown, felt cowboy hat. Please avoid this color choice for your own headgear. Ladies: Rae will be in ivory and the bridesmaid will be in burnt orange. Please avoid these and other white adjacent colors for your own dresses.

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event due to limited capacity. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

There are tons of AirBnB's in the area! There's also the Gruene Cottages, Gruene River Hotel and Retreat, and Gruene River Inn. All of them are less than a 15-minute drive. We will be looking into block reservations for close hotels.

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm when the doors to the chapel will be shut. Please arrive around 4:00 so you don't miss the ceremony! Afterward, we will walk to the back of the property to the reception hall and celebrate until the send-off at 10:00 pm!

The ceremony will be held in an open air chapel and the cocktail hour will be outside under a lovely grove of trees. The reception hall has large glass doors that will be opened up if weather permits. The cocktail area has space heaters and we are hoping for the typical low 70s November weather. However, we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast for Gruene/New Braunfels, TX to make sure you are going to be properly dressed. We will have a bar. Beer, wine, two specialty cocktails, and non alcoholic beverages are on us. While those items are complementary, quantities are limited. Due to the venue's policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

The reception ends at 10:00 pm and the venue must be cleaned up by 11:00 pm. After such a big day, we are not planning for an after party.
