Colsen and Rachel’s stories collided in a place that neither of them expected. They were both called on missions to the Germany Frankfurt Mission, and ended up seeing each other for the first time in the Texas airport on their way to Germany. However, due to COVID-19, they were sent to Croatia for 2 weeks for quarantine and this is where they officially met. They served around each other a little bit through out their missions.

Once both of them returned home, Rachel decided to go to Colsen’s homecoming and that’s when they decided to stay in touch. A couple months later they went on their first date and then a second date and it just continued. After dating for almost a year, Colsen proposed on December 16th. Rachel and Colsen will be sealed in the Star Valley Wyoming Temple and will have a Reception In Malad Idaho. They are beyond excited to get married and spend the rest of their days together.
