Matt and Rachel met on a mission trip to Jonesville, Virginia as part of a ministry organization at Grand Valley State University.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Matt and Rachel had to stay connected in creative ways! This included the popular online game, Animal Crossing, where they would regularly fish and play games with Rachel's brother Nathan as well.
