Our first date! We went for Mexican food and margaritas. We couldn't stop talking about Star Wars, Marvel movies, and all the classics. It was so amazing that we went on our second date the very next day!

FSU game! Zach saw Rachel's competitive side at a football game featuring her alma mater. That fall they also went on some fun dates exploring the Freedom Trail, bowling, and apple picking with Rachel's friends. It was a joy to discover new things about each other and talk about faith, family, and politics.

Thanksgiving! Rachel went with Zach to Rhode Island for Thanksgiving and was blessed meet his extended family for the first time! She loved getting to know them and seeing how loved Zach is.

Christmas! Zach went with Rachel to Florida to meet her family for the first time and spend their first Christmas together. They also visited Rachel's favorite place, the Shrine of Our Lady La Leche in St. Augustine, FL.

Ice Skating! What a fun winter going ice skating with Zach's sister’s family, attending Rachel's first hockey game, and even a ski trip with Zach's best friends. Rachel was too scared to try skiing this time but hopes her future niece Hannah will teach her on the Bunny Slopes next winter!

Summer Vacation! Zach and Rachel went on vacation in Florida to visit her family and spend some quality time with her niece Harper. While they were at the beach, Zach asked her Dad for permission to marry her. He approved and gave his blessing!

ENGAGED! For their 1-year anniversary, Zach took Rachel on a day trip to Martha's Vinyard. Once they got to South Beach, Zach asked Rachel to marry him and she replied with "a thousand times yes!" and burst into happy tears.
