If you're looking for things to do or places to eat in Denton, here is a list of our favorites!
Take a walk around the square & enjoy the different shops & restaurants
Recycled Books, Records, CDs is a Denton icon. We definitely recommend you take a stroll through this old opera house that is now homes to hundreds of books, records, and more!
Another Denton icon. Enjoy some ice cream at the local soda fountain!
We ate here many times during our time at the University of North Texas. Delicious diner food at a college friendly budget.
This is our university! You can park at the neighboring businesses for free, or you can park in the Highland Garage (1 hour is free!). Take a walk around the campus. Spencer & Rachel both stayed their freshmen years in Rawlins Hall, watched plenty of basketball games at the Coliseum, and attended classes in various buildings such as Wooten Hall, Curry Hall, and the G. Brint Ryan College of Business.
The "other" university located in Denton. They have some beautiful gardens and a chapel in the woods.
You're going to come all this way to Texas and NOT visit Buc-ees?
Delicious burgers, fries, and margaritas. This place is a step up from your usual burger joint and has burgers themed to different Texas music legends.
