The Venue

Situated in the village of Kouklia just 15 minutes from the vibrant town of Paphos, sits the ultimate rustic wedding venue, made completely from stone and wood, the Liopetro Venue. With stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the venue is surrounded by beautiful gardens and set on archaeological grounds that are infused in history.

Getting to Cyprus

For our UK guests flying over, please note that the rules on EU passports have changed. Your passport now expires 10 years from the date of issue - this is not necessarily always the expiry date it says on the passport. If you renewed your current passport before the previous one expired you may have had extra months added onto the 10 years.​You need at least 6 months before the actual expiry date remaining to fly. Please make sure you check!

Staying in Cyprus

We would recommend staying in Paphos, as it is where our transportation for the day will depart. Guests are more than welcome to join us in staying at our hotel. Alternatively, Paphos has a range of options to suit all budgets and holiday styles - we recommend guests to find accommodation that suits them. Getting to the venue

Complimentary transport to and from the wedding venue will depart as follows. 13:50&nbsp;- Queens Bay Hotel.Pick up is on main road opposite reception. 14:10 - Sofianna Resort &amp; Spa.Pick up is from outside the reception. 14:20&nbsp;- Leonardo Cypria Bay.Pick up is at bus stop opposite hotel. 14:25&nbsp;- Aquamare Beach Hotel and Spa.Pick up is outside reception. 14:30&nbsp;- Louis Phaethon Beach.Pick up is on the main road, opposite the hotel. 15.00 - Arriving at Liopetro&nbsp;Wedding Venue. 23:45 - Depart from Liopetro. Look out for a Big Red Bus!

Each guest will receive a welcome drink upon arrival, 2 hours complimentary drinks after the ceremony and then 3 hours complimentary drinks when the party starts!Some drinks may need to be purchased during dinner.

Is there a gift registry?

No! Having you travel overseas to be with us on our special day is the only gift we can ask for.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Unfortunately, our RSVP deadline has passed and we have not heard from you. At this time our final guest count has been submitted to our venue and catering. Your presence will be missed!

When should I book my flights and accommodation?

We would advise looking as soon as possible. Holiday packages are being released all the time.

What should I wear?

We invite our guests to participate in our wedding theme by wearing neutral colours (for example: beige, taupe,&nbsp;gold, cream, light grey). Pastel colours are also welcomed.

What is the weather like?

The daily temperature ranges from mid to high 20s°C.The evening temperatures range from mid to high teens. We would recommend a jacket or cover up for the evening.

Is the bar cash or card?

Both. However, each guest will receive a welcome drink upon arrival, 2 hours complimentary drinks after the ceremony and then 3 hours complimentary drinks when the party starts from 8.45pm! Some drinks may need to be purchased during dinner.
