History

The ESB sits on land with roots dating back hundreds of years. Industrial development began in the 1850s with lumber and timber operations. Pierce County started developing the area in the 1950s, establishing small shops and a gravel mine. Today, the site has evolved into a hub for public offices, recreational spaces, and championship golf courses, along with the occasional marriage.
