Rachel and Sam first met each other amidst the chaos of a fraternity party at the University of Michigan during their sophomore year. Little did they know that this chance encounter in a beer covered basement would be the beginning of their love story!

Rachel and Sam dated throughout their senior year and decided to give long distance a shot. Rachel was bound for Boston to teach elementary school while Sam kick-started his career in Chicago. One year later, they reunited when Rachel moved back to Chicago to take on law school.

After spending time with their families in Chicago and Florida during the pandemic, Rachel and Sam took the plunge and moved in together to an apartment in Lincoln Park.

Six years of dating later, on a Tuesday in July, Sam proposed to Rachel on the Lincoln Park bridge with the Chicago skyline as their backdrop. Of course, Rachel said (more like shrieked) yes!! Even after they witnessed the Michigan football team win the national championship six months later, this is still the best day of their lives.

Now, Rachel and Sam cannot be more excited to celebrate their love with all their friends and family this October in Chicago!
