Rachel and Jeremy met in 2018 when they both began at UTC's DPT program. They first met at The Ice Cream Show where the entire class got together prior to the semester starting. During this first interaction, Rachel made the mistake of asking Jeremy, "Are you always this quiet?" He was quick to prove her wrong. They soon became study partners which turned into a blossoming friendship.

After a couple of years Rachel & Jeremy realized there might be more than friendship between them. And after a while of long distance, Jeremy finally convinced Rachel to move up to Knoxville.

On April 8th, 2023, Rachel and Jeremy returned to Chattanooga to visit the aquarium. They decided to return to The Ice Cream Show for old time's sake. Jeremy then proposed to Rachel at the Hunter Museum Overlook with the TN river in the background. Jeremy had his parents and Rachel's parents waiting to surprise her at dinner.

Rachel and Jeremy will continue their love story on May 4th, 2024 where they will be married at Kincaid House.
