Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited to your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they would appear under your name when you RSVP.
When should I RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP by August 25, 2024, so we have plenty of time to plan for our special day!
Are kids invited?
Due to limited numbers, children are only invited if named on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to " The [Your Last Name] Family" if your children have been invited and "Mr. & Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited.
What is the dress code?
We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress to impress in your best formal attire. Please no jeans or denim and avoid shades of white. The ceremony will be held outside. The reception will be indoors.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like and don’t forget to share them with us!
Where is the ceremony location?
The ceremony will take place in the East Lawn. This is located behind the Robert McCormick House.
Can I walk from the ceremony location to the reception location?
While the ceremony and reception locations share the Cantigny name, the reception location will be on the golf side. This is a 6 minute drive from Cantigny Park. There is no walking path that connects the two locations.
Can I carpool from the ceremony to the reception?
We highly suggest not carpooling to the reception from the ceremony, as Cantigny Park closes at sundown. This would make guests unable to get their vehicles after the reception.
