Rachel and Luke officially met in the spring of 2016 in a dorm room at Ithaca College. But they didn't know that their story actually began before that...

Rachel and Luke were both in Dr. Fox's Chorus at the Ithaca College Whalen School of Music during their freshman year. Rachel was a Soprano, and Luke was a Bass. They sang in the same group directly across the room from each other. Rachel didn't know Luke nor did Luke know Rachel yet, but he noticed her from across the room. Towards the end of freshman year, they befriended each other and went on a few dates. After the summer, during the beginning of sophomore year, they made things official and the rest is history. In the 7.5 years they've been together so far, they have graduated with their Bachelor's degrees (Luke's in Sound Recording Technology and Rachel's in Theatre Studies), moved to Nashville, adopted a tabby cat (Casper), and have been working in their industries ever since. They have built a cozy life together and are excited to enter their next chapter as 'The Armentrouts'.
