WHAT TIME DOES THE WEDDING START?

Champagne Offering: 4pm

Ceremony: 4:30pm

The Champagne offering begins at 4, followed by the Ceremony at 4:30. We realize this is during Friday rush hour, so please plan accordingly to ensure you will not be late. It takes roughly 30 minutes to commute from Charleston to the guard gate at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, and another 25+ minutes to drive through the entire property to the back end where the Ocean Course is located.

HOW DO I RECEIVE THE KIAWAH DISCOUNT CODE?



Our wedding code to receive 10% off is 22238. It is applied on the back end after booking. Just reply to the confirmation email with the code or call the resort (800)654-2924 to receive the discount.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE REHEARSAL DINNER AND WELCOME PARTY?


Attire: Casual Cocktail (Sport coats… no ties, no denim, etc.)
This venue is completely indoors.



WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?

Black Tie Preferred!

Guys: We would love to see you in a tux! If opting for a suit, we ask that it be a formal suit in a dark color (black/dark navy).

Ladies: Midi or floor length dresses! Please note that this venue is outdoors on a golf course so the ceremony and reception will be on grass. Dance floor sneakers are welcome post ceremony if the ladies would like to give the heels a rest!

ARE KIDS INVITED?

As much as we love your precious little ones, all weekend events are adult only!

WHAT DOES THE UBER/LYFT SITUATION LOOK LIKE?

Charleston is full of uber/lyft options, however once you are on Kiawah the options are slim to none. You can often find a ride from Charleston to Kiawah but not from Kiawah to Charleston. We recommend getting rentals cars or scheduling a driver service for airport travelers.

WHAT DOES PARKING AT THE WEDDING VENUE LOOK LIKE?

There is ample parking at the Ocean Course, or you can utilize the complimentary shuttles for those staying through the resort.
