Our Wedding

We originally met while both attending the same very small middle and high school. We were one grade apart and we&nbsp;both went to the same youth group. We were never really friends and hardly spoke to each other, but we each knew one another. Jump forward to 2015, after we had both graduated college and found ourselves back within just a few miles of each other. We reconnected via an online dating site, and within a day we had made plans to meet. Nate cooked Rachel dinner on our first date, and we watched a pretty terrible movie together. It became&nbsp;a beautiful relationship, which neither of us had seen coming. We quickly&nbsp;fell in love, moved in together, and started a family with three wonderful pups. 

One year later, while visiting Rachel's sister in Los Angeles, Nate sent Rachel on a photo scavenger hunt around the city. He made her take a photo with a palm tree, hugging a mannequin, sticking her feet in the water, and imitating a statue. After Rachel earned&nbsp;100 points from all the photos ops, she was given&nbsp;instructions to close her eyes. When she opened them,&nbsp;she saw Nate down on one knee and she of course said yes! We are so excited for the rest of our adventure to begin and can't wait to&nbsp;become Mr. and Mrs. Paul.

Jordan and Nate have been best friends for practically their whole lives or so it would&nbsp;seem. He is currently living in Norwich, NY and working in the IT department at Colgate University. You may find Jordan out on the green playing golf, outside playing frisbee, and spending time making fun of his friends. Nate is very happy his lifelong best friend will be standing next to him on his wedding day.

Jordan Wenzel

Valerie is the bride's sister and one of her best friends. She lives in Los Angeles, CA and runs her own mobile spray tanning company (On The Go Glow). She loves animals (especially her pup Gavin), traveling, and nature. Rachel is so happy her sister is going to be standing by her side on her special day.

Valerie Walters

Nicolette is one of Rachel's best friends. They met Freshman year of college and have been friends ever since. She recently moved from Dublin, Ireland to Los Angeles, CA and works in marketing. Her favorite hobbies include reading comics, spending time with friends, and trying new delicious food. Rachel is so happy to have her best friend travel across the country to be here for her special day.

Nicolette Neurauter

Matt and Nate have been best friends since they met in middle school. He currently lives in Earlville, NY and works as an x-ray technician at a local hospital. Matt loves playing video games, darts, and board games with friends. Nate is excited to have Matt be a part of his special day.

Matt Taylor

Sarah and Rachel met their Freshman year of college, while living on the same floor, and is one of Rachel's best friends. She lives in NJ and works in NYC as an editor at Crooked Lane Books. You may often find Sarah at Barnes and Noble, enjoying a glass of wine, or watching a good tv show or movie. Rachel is so happy to have her best friend be apart of her special day.

Tank has been Nate's dog since he was a puppy. He was the first pup of our furry family. He enjoys going for walks, playing with other dogs, and playing catch. We are so happy he gets to be a part of our day!

Kyle and Rachel met because Kyle's husband, Jordan, is Nate's best friend. Over&nbsp;the past two and a half years they have bonded through game nights with the guys, getting&nbsp;their nails done, and girls nights. Kyle has become one of Rachel's best friends. She currently lives in Norwich, NY and is a teacher. She loves the beach, board games, and her dog Monster. Rachel is so thankful and happy that one of her closest friends will be&nbsp;part of her wedding day.

Kyle Wenzel

Winston is the youngest and toughest member of the family. He was the first dog Nate and Rachel adopted together. He has a big personality and enjoys every part of life. He loves cuddling, playing with his brother and sister, and camping. We are so excited to have our little guy be a part of such a big day.

Maria and Rachel met after Maria joined Kappa Delta. She is another one of Rachel's best friends. She currently lives and works in NYC for Dagne Dover. She enjoys snap chatting, cuddling with any furry animal she can find (especially cats), and spending time around the city.&nbsp;Rachel is overjoyed to have Maria be a part of her special day.

Sarah is Nate's older sister and has become one of Rachel's good friends. She is a teacher and lives in Clyde, NY. She is a wonderful mother to 3 beautiful children! She loves spending time with family, outdoors, and camping. We are both so excited she gets to spend this day with us.

Sarah Marchitell

Harlow is Nate's niece and the cutest toddler you may ever meet. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cuddling with her stuffed animals. We are both so happy that little Harlow will be a part of our special day.

Abernathy is Rachel's niece and a very fun and adventurous girl. She spends her time watching Star Wars movies, dancing, and bowling. We cannot wait to have her walk down the aisle and be a part of our wedding.

Macklin is Nate and Rachel's newest member of their family and their oldest pup. She loves treats, destroying toys, and playing outside. We cannot wait to have her take part in our wedding day.

Registry

Turning Stone has four different hotels ranging in a variety of prices. They do not offer room blocks for their hotels. We recommend making a reservation to these hotels at least a month in advance.

This hotel is very close to the casino as well as the venue. It also provides a complementary shuttle to and from the casino.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Verona

This is a cute inn located in Hamilton, NY. It is about a 20 minute drive to the venue and a 35 minute drive to the casino.
