Trevor and I met in the summer of 2019 at the Big Dipper, right after high school graduation. We had mutual friends that put us at the right place and at the right time. Trevor didn’t waste much time and asked for my number that night and asked me on a date the next day. He realized that we had been neighbors for years when he typed in my address to pick me up on our first date. On our first date, we went to Texas Roadhouse, drove back roads listening to music, Hayden's Drive-In for a milkshake, and live music downtown. After the first date, we both knew we had something special! We took advantage of our first summer together before Trevor left for his freshman year at the University of Kentucky. Shortly before Trevor left, we went on a nice date to the Miller House. I fell down not one, but two flights of stairs that night. We laughed in the parking lot, where he told me he loved me for the first time.

We began long distance when Trevor left for the University of Kentucky, and I stayed back to attend Brescia University. We were able to spend our last two years of college together, before we began long distance again after our college graduation. Trevor went to pursue his career in investment banking in Charlotte, NC, and I stayed in Lexington to attend graduate school to pursue speech-language pathology. We are so excited to get married in June and be done with long distance for good! We are honeymooning in Italy, and then I will move to Charlotte to begin our married life together. After six years of dating, four being long distance, we are beyond excited to get married. We are so thrilled to spend the best day of our lives together with all of you!
