Rachel and Austin's love story began on November 30th, 2019. Two fun-loving personalities meeting on the dance floor at Trinity in downtown Milwaukee. From then on, they were all in. Soon after, Austin visited Rachel in Madison for a Badger basketball game. Rachel reciprocated by meeting his friends in Whitewater. After just over a month of seeing each other, they took their first of many adventures to Miami with Rachel's friend, Maddie. No pressure.

Rachel and Austin's relationship was put to the ultimate test while attending colleges away from each other and enduring the COVID pandemic. In usual Rachel and Austin fashion, their relationship flourished. They used their obstacles as an opportunity to adventure and discover new passions. Austin graduated from Marquette with a degree in Biomedical Science and went on to paramedic school to become a critical care flight paramedic for the WI Army National Guard. Rachel's studies took her to graduate school for Occupational therapy at Radford University in Virginia and a clinical rotation in Alaska. Austin has always been Rachel's biggest supporter and accompanied Rachel on her new chapters. Though, he could do without the questionable hiking choices and Rachel's fearlessness while hiking in Alaska. It was then Rachel's turn to support Austin in Texas as he completed his medical training in 2022. They returned to Madison soon after as Austin began his time at UW-Madison in the Physician Assistant Program.

Since then, the stars have truly aligned for Rachel and Austin. Rachel found a job as a hand therapist for the Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire. Similarly, Austin works at the same hospital in the Emergency Department as a paramedic while attending school virtually.

Through every twist and turn in their relationship, they have had the love and support from friends and family in attendance today. They are eternally grateful for all who have played a part in their adventure together and look forward to sharing many more in the future.
