The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Rye Train Station, with routes from central London via Ashford International. It is definitely accessible via public transportation from both Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport. Train tickets are cheaper if you book in advance, but you can always get same day tickets. Rye is situated on the A259 travelling East and West, and situated south of the M20.

There are various car parks in the town of Rye within a close walk of the hotel; but we'd recommend Rye Market car park, it costs £2 per 24 hours.

Rooms at The George can be reserved prior to the wedding, chargeable 24 hours prior to check in. Please email events@thegeorgeinrye.com and mention our wedding date and name. There are also a number of other hotels and accommodations in the area that you are welcome to book.

The George can hold luggage at the front desk if you do not have a room booked the night before the wedding. Just be sure to get to the hotel early on the day of the wedding so you have time to drop your belongings before the ceremony starts.
