Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport
The closest airport is the Charlottesville airport about 30 minutes from Lydia Mountain. It is a very small airport with only five gates or so.
Dulles International Airport
One of two international airports located in Washington, DC about an hour and 45 minutes from Lydia Mountain by car. Due to the size of DC, there are more flight options from the DC airports.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
The second of two international airports located in DC. The Reagan airport is about two hours from Lydia Mountain by car.
Accommodations
Lydia Mountain Lodge & Log Cabins
Lydia Mountain is a large lodge and adjoining property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are a number of one to three bedroom cabins on or near the property that can be rented from Lydia Mountain. Other weddings may be occurring elsewhere on the property during our wedding weekend so we anticipate these cabins filling up fast. If you would like to stay at the Lodge, please contact the bride and groom.
Lafayette Inn & Restaurant
The Lafayette Inn is nestled in the quaint downtown of Stanardsville approximately 10 minutes away from our wedding venue at Lydia Mountain Lodge.
Postcard Cabins Shenandoah
If you're looking for a true mountain getaway, these tiny homes are available for rent about 15 minutes from Lydia Mountain.
There are several chain hotels available in Ruckersville about 20 to 25 minutes from the venue that are also an option for those wishing to stay closer to Charlottesville.
