Shuttle ServiceComplimentary shuttles will run from 2:00-6:00 PMPick-up location: Courtyard by Marriott CharlestonWaterfront (35 Lockwood Dr, Charleston, SC 29401)The shuttle will take guests to the ceremony at the Summerall Chapel and later to the reception Guest BreakAfter the ceremony, guests will have about an hour before the reception begins at 5:00 p.m. You're welcome to explore The Citadel's beautiful and historic military college campus, or hop on the shuttle to grab a drink at Salty Mike's Deck Bar right next door to the reception venue. Enjoy your cocktail or feel free to take a stroll along the docks before the festivities begin! Parking &amp; RideshareIf you choose to drive to the reception, please note there is a parking fee. Make sure to keep your parking ticket as you will need it to exit the parking lot.If you are using Uber or rideshare, there is a 15-minute grace period once your driver enters the parking lot. Kindly ensure you depart within that time to avoid a parking charge. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Things to Do

It all started on a night out in Charleston in 2021. We were both out with friends when Rachel stopped Austin to compliment his cowboy boots. Little did we know, that one small moment would be the start of something so special - we’ve been together ever since! One of the first things we bonded over was our love for volleyball - both of us played in high school and on travel teams growing up. Some of our earliest dates were spent passing the ball back and forth, which very quickly led to us learning each other's competitive sides. A great icebreaker if you will! Since then, life has been full of big milestones. Rachel cheered Austin on as he went through the SC Criminal Justice Academy, and now, he proudly serves as a Charleston County Deputy Sheriff. In August 2024, we bought our first home together in Summerville, SC, and a few months later, we added a new (and very energetic) member to our little family - our puppy, Weston. He’s brought so much joy (and chaos) into our lives, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. When we’re not busy working, we love spending time with friends, taking Weston on adventures, and trying new restaurants around town. In September of 2024, Austin popped the question, and now, we’re counting down the days until we say, I do! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of our favorite people. Thank you for being part of our story - we can’t wait to see you on the big day!
