We began as friends, both experiencing our first time dating someone our own age. When Hyunje arrived in Boston from the Korean Army to pursue his master’s degree, he was only supposed to stay for a year and a half. He promised himself he wouldn’t start anything serious, knowing he'd eventually have to leave. But sometimes, God has other plans.

Though our time together was brief before dating, we quickly discovered that we shared the same values and dreams in life. We both cherish the small joys in everyday life, carry a deep faith, and hold a desire to build a family rooted in Christ.

Now, we’re more than just a couple—we’re soulmates, cat parents to our sweet Tori, and true partners in crime. It became clear that we were meant to find each other, and that God brought us both to Boston to write the beginning of our new chapter together. Now, with full hearts, we’re ready to walk forward, hand in hand, and celebrate a lifetime of love, faith, and family.
