Midtown Carmel is the heart of the city and a great place to eat, shop, and explore. It is just a 15 minute walk (or five minute bike ride with the trailside bikeshares) along the Monon Rail trail. We recommend Bub's for burgers and milkshakes, followed by trailside shuffleboard or bocce.
The Carmel Farmer's Market will be outside the hotel on the Carter Green on Saturday, 9/21 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
Hotel Carmichael is in the heart of Carmel City Center, which holds a variety of options for dining, shopping, and being entertained. We recommend Matt the Miller's Tavern, Tucci's Italian, and Graeter's Ice Cream.
The Cake Bake Shop is over-the-top elegance for delicious baked goods. Stop in for a totally unique experience that will make you feel like you're dining with British royalty.
Rooftop bar in Midtown Carmel located above Anthony's Chophouse.
If you're looking to venture outside of Carmel, check out the Zionsville Farmer's Market on Main Street! Main Street has boutiques, ice cream, restaurants, etc. Tons of local farmers and small businesses set up shop on Saturday mornings and its so fun to grab a coffee and check out all the booths (personal faves are Walking Waffles, Nicey treats, & the breakfast burritos).
Fun fact, Rachel's first jobs were as a baker at My Sugar Pie, a hostess at Noah Grant's, and a hostess at Rosie's - all on Main Street. They are all definitely worth dropping by if you have time!
