SO HERE ARE A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IN THE LOU!
1. Forest Park- Explore Forest Park's 1,300 acres of lakes, walking paths, and attractions like the Jewel Box, World's Fair Pavilion, the Boathouse, and the Grand Basin. The park offers trails for biking, walking, and jogging. Within the park are: The St. Louis Zoo (One Government Dr, 314-781-0900), Art Museum, History Museum, and Science Center.
2. The Arch- Ride in a special tram to the top of the Gateway Arch (11 N 4th St, 314-655-1700), towering 630 feet over the Mississippi River, to get a great view of the city. Under the arch is the Museum of Westward Expansion, where you can learn about the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
3. Anheuser-Busch Brewery - Visit the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales (314-577-2626), the world's largest brewery. Take a free tour of the company's headquarters and see how its famous beer is made. The tour also includes free samples of the latest brews.
4. The Armory - A unique space with food, drinks, and many giant yard games for the whole group to enjoy.
5. 360 Bar - rooftop bar with great views of the city
6. Ballpark Village - A giant sports-themed area.
Our favorite places to eat in or near downtown St. Louis:
1. Katie’s Pizza and Pasteria *chefs kiss* Rachelle's absolute favorite place. It is located downtown in Ballpark Village.
2. Egg - Brunch at its finest
3. Narwhal’s - Frozen Cocktails and walkable to the Foundry, an open food market
4. 21c Museum Hotel - Idol Wolf Restaurant - an upscale and delicious restaurant. It also serves as an art museum on the second floor that you won't want to miss.
5. Square One Brewery & Distillery - stop by for a great lunch and drink, only a few miles from the Magnolia Hotel.
