She was the new girl at the gym. He was the hot-shot trainer with all the answers.

After a three year friendship, their first date was at a friend's house for dinner.&nbsp; Four years later, September 3, 2018, everything changed behind an Amalfi sunset at the end of a whimsical adventure through Italy. They were engaged.



We are excited to begin the next chapter together as best friends, husband & wife, a team, and the future Mr & Mrs. Occhipinti. We hope you share our same excitement.

Joe first met Nick in high school during summer ball with the Placentia Mustangs. Fun fact: that team was coached by Ted Silva and Justin Turner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Rachyl met Christina while playing basketball against each other in middle school (St. Paul's will always be cooler than Salem) and quickly became inseparable - bonding over our love for Harry Potter, Fan Fiction and movies;&nbsp;which were forced upon me at every opportunity and which I&nbsp;promptly fell&nbsp;asleep to.....(Sorry, Star Wars).&nbsp;It's safe to say Christina has been my longest and dearest friend and I love her!&nbsp;

Joe met Nate through Nick Chavez, and they learned that they enjoyed arguing with each other over a myriad of topics.

Joe also met Mike during a summer of baseball on the Placentia Mustangs. Fun fact: Mike's favorite pick up line in college was telling girls he threw 92 over the top.

Joe met Nick during little league when&nbsp;he was the new kid in town. As a former 2 sport athlete in high school, Nick now dominates elementary school kids during PE as an athletic director.

Rachyl met Samantha at the gym and formed a bond over cheese and wine. I still remember the first time Joe and I went over to her house – 4 years later, here we are!
