We started out as officemates — just two people working side by side, laughing at deadlines, and sharing random life stories over coffee. What began as casual chats slowly turned into deeper conversations about faith, purpose, and God’s plans.

Somewhere between those heart talks and prayer moments, we found ourselves asking the same question: “Lord, is this Your will?”

And in His perfect timing, He answered. God gave us His Word in 1 John 5:14, and from that moment, we knew — it wasn’t just coincidence. He was the one writing our story all along.

Before we were even officially together, I (Racquel) invited him to our local church—just a friendly invitation, nothing more. But every weekend after that, he would travel all the way from Pasig to Bulacan just to attend the service. That’s when something in my heart said, this man is willing to go beyond.

Eventually, God appointed him as our church’s drummer.

I had prayed for a partner who would never hinder my calling… but God, in His goodness, gave me so much more — a partner in ministry.

Today, we both serve in the Worship Ministry and as CORE Leaders in our local church, UDFC Graceville.

We’ve seen firsthand how love grows deeper when it’s rooted in serving the same God together. ❤️💜

After a year of being together, and being sure in Christ that we wanted our relationship to follow His design, Jhaze proposed — right in the middle of our church’s Thanksgiving celebration! 🎉

What everyone thought was just a simple parlor game of charades suddenly turned into something unforgettable. In an instant, that joyful game became one of the most beautiful moments of our lives — the moment he asked the question.

From the very beginning, we’ve held onto the principle “date to marry.” So deep down, we both knew this time would come. But what made it extra special was knowing that it happened in His perfect time — just as His Word says in Isaiah 60:22,

“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Truly, this proposal wasn’t just a surprise — it was a divine appointment. 💜

Finally, after months of prayer and preparation, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. As we look back, we’re reminded of how faithful God has been in every part of our story — and as we look forward, we rest in the truth that the same God who started it all will remain faithful through every season ahead.

We’re not just preparing for November 21 — we’re preparing for a lifetime. 💍

A lifetime of growing, learning, and loving each other, with God at the center of it all.

This is only the beginning of the next chapter — one that He continously allows us to experience His grace, joy, and favor. 💜
