Raechele and Aaron will exchange vows at The Dove-Cote, also know as "The Hennery". It was the first structure built on the island, and the first of many towers to rise on the grounds. Topped with an aviary house for doves, it also held an elevated water tank which supplied water to the island structures.

On the shores of the Saint Lawrence River sits Bonnie Castle Resort and Marina, host of the reception and lodging for the wedding weekend. From a distance, Boldt Castle rests outside the reception ballroom and is the elegant background of the entire river view.

How We Met

The Meeting

The story is told one of two ways depending on who's telling it. As fate would have it Raechele and Aaron were registered for the same Calculus class. Aaron sat in the third row three seats in from the left aisle and Raechele sat seven rows back in the center of the room. There came a day when Raechele's seat was "taken by others", so she decided to take an empty seat, one that happened to be right next to Aaron. Passing by to her new seat wearing a Yankees cap Aaron struck up a conversation about baseball and his fandom for the Buffalo Bills (he had gone to a game over the previous weekend). The first few weeks of class passed and the conversations were all together casual and rather boring until sparks magically appeared. Suddenly the small talk grew larger and Raechele and Aaron began meeting for coffee and study sessions. Things started to culminate and soon a wager on who would get the highest grade on the first Calculus was on the table.

The Bet and Date

During a conversation one day before Phu Chung's first calculus exam Aaron proposed a bet to Raechele. Before class was over they ended up making wager to arrange a dinner, also known as the first date, and whomever received the lower exam score would buy the dinner. Aaron picked up his test and showed Raechele a 99% who then looked at hers to reveal a perfect 100%. Following class, Aaron picked up Raechele and they went to Carrabba's Italian Grill for their celebratory dinner. The rest is history.

I LOVE YOU!

Raechele and Aaron took their first weekend getaway together to NYC where they celebrated a Yankees season opening win together at the 21 Club in midtown Manhattan and captured one of the best photos in one of the best moments these two have shared. Aaron told Raechele he loved her just before this picture was taken.

The Proposal

Just minutes before Disneyland's Fantasmic!, a water show through Mickey's dreams, a spotlight appeared and Aaron dropped to one knee among thousands of spectators to offer Raechele a proposal and memory that will last a lifetime.

The Love Keeps Growing

Raechele and Aaron seem to fall more and more in love everyday as their beautiful almost seven year relationship continues to grow. Whether it is a puzzle night, Buffalo Bills games, a night out at the&nbsp;Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Disney trips, or dinner and a movie, "Date Night" is truly cherished. Throughout the years, despite incredibly busy schedules and time spent apart Raechele and Aaron have always supported each other and made the effort to make time for one another They have never lost site of their goals and dreams both as a couple and individuals.

Our Life Now

Raechele

Raechele has earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from UB and is currently enrolled as a graduate student in the Master of Public Health and Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UB. She will finish nine long and dedicated years of college in the Spring of 2019.

Aaron

After graduating UB over four years ago with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Aaron accepted a job with The Steritech Group, a food safety and brand&nbsp;standards consulting business. As a consultant he works with national and global restaurant brands through tailored programs that help mitigate food safety risks and improve operational excellence.

Raechele and Annie have been best friends since 5th grade when fate would have it that they were put on the same softball team that Annie's dad happened to coach. Raechele and Annie continued to be best friends through all of junior high, high school, and throughout college. Despite being miles apart they still find to see each other whenever possible! Annie recently graduated Law School and has started her career in Deerfield Beach, Delaware. Annie also recently got engaged in the Bahamas!&nbsp;Fun fact: Aaron is the first "boy" that Raechele dated that Annie approved of!

Anne Talarico

Aaron and Sam met in 5th grade and started homeroom together each day at Washington Middle School.  Friends...of course, but partners in crime is a better way to describe their early years up through high school.  More recently they have shared a residence in Buffalo and both have earned a Bachelor degree from UB.  Sam now works for Solar Liberty as Director of Customer Support. Fun Fact: Raechele and Aaron lived in the same house as Sam during the beginning of their relationship!

Samuel Germaine

Nikki is a close family friend of Raechele's from junior high and high school. They have many fun memories including scary movie sleepovers, pool parties, and even Nikki's first drink! Nikki currently is attending law school in NYC. Raechele and Nikki continue to be close friends and see each other whenever their busy schedules allow!

Nicole Betro

Aaron and Andrew have known each other for as long as they both can remember. Andrew lived just a few houses away, across the alley, and around the corner from Aaron.  Countless summers were filled with sneaks or late night basketball under the lights in the driveway.  Andrew was the first of "the boys"  to graduate from UB and now works for Catholic Health as Director of Clinical and Operational Effectiveness. Fun Fact: Aaron and Raechele also lived with Andrew and his wife Julie in the early years of their relationship!

Andrew Bishop

Aaron and John became good friends in high school and during the early years at JCC.  Most everyone who knows John has a memory with him, and with John and Aaron there are too many to count.  Some of the best include lifeguarding during high school and working summers at the Italian Fisherman. John was also another roommate with "the boys"  (and Raechele) and is currently pursuing a nursing degree from Trocaire College.

John Capizzi

Amanda and Raechele met when they were selected to be college roommates at UB freshman year. Amanda and Raechele instantly connected even though Amanda moved in a few weeks into the semester. Amanda and Raechele helped each  other through the growing pains that came along with college life and all of the boy drama along the way. Amanda is currently a nurse at Rochester General Hospital and recently got engaged to long time boyfriend Jamie in Italy!

Amanda Simonetti

Aaron and Matt have been friends since early childhood.  During the summer you could find Matt and Aaron matched up together in Junior Golf at Moon Brook.  Matt attended SUNY Fredonia after high school and received a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  He now lives in Buffalo and works with the operations field team at Solar Liberty.

Matthew Traniello

Nicole is one of Raechele's first cousins. Nicole and Raechele had a special connection from birth because they were both born premature red heads. Nicole and Raechele share many childhood memories of family holidays and going to the movies with Nicole's uncle. Nicole currently lives in State College, PA.

Nicole Bortiatynski

Amanda is Raechele's future sister-in-law and mother to flower girl Milana. Amanda and Raechele can usually be found together planning family dinners and trips;&nbsp;or&nbsp;shopping for Disney lularoe.

Amanda Costello

Michael is Raechele's younger brother and father to the flower girl Milana. Raechele and Michael grew up enjoying many family trips, countless Monopoly battles, and plotting against mom and dad. Michael currently resides in the family's hometown of New Hartford, NY with his fiancé, Amanda, and their 2 kids Marco and Milana.

Michael Leone

Milana is Raechele's goddaughter and niece. Milana loves Minnie Mouse, puppies, and shoe shopping. She will be 2 years old at the wedding.
