Travel to Laramie

Laramie is most accessible by car or flight. You can fly into the closest international airport in Denver for the most flight options. Laramie also has a small airport with connecting flights from Denver twice a day.

If you choose to fly to DIA you can shuttle to Laramie or rent a car at the airport.

DIA car rental agencies are located on airport property but require a courtesy shuttle service to and from Jeppesen Terminal. Shuttles pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, Island 4, outside doors 505-513 (east side) and 504-512 (west side). Laramie also has a small airport that has connecting flights to the Denver airport. Usually, they have one morning and one evening flight. If you are flying into Laramie, you can arrange an uber or call a taxi (listed below) to take you to your lodging.

Laramie is very easy to drive, however, if you do not have a car or simply wish not to drive or walk there are a few services that provide rides in town.

Activities 

Downtown Laramie has lots of cute shops and fun local restaurants to explore! Try ice cream at the Big Dipper or grab a drink at Front Street. Don't forget to look at the murals and historical sites while you're there.

The UW Art Museum is free and a great activity if you're looking to stay indoors! They always have several fun exhibits.

University of Wyoming Art Museum

If you're looking to get outside Curt Gowdy State Park is only 30 minutes from Laramie. It has lots of hikes for any skill level. Hidden Falls is a local favorite - just give yourself time to adjust to the elevation!

Restaurants 

Lovejoy's is one of Jordan's go-to restaurants. It offers a great variety of food and drinks - you will definitely find something to catch your interest. Don't forget to take a train shot while you're there!

The Crowbar is Raegan's favorite restaurant in Laramie. Feel free to try her go-to burger "The Kingbird". This is a great place for quality burgers, pizza, and fries.

Sweet Melissa's is a vegetarian restaurant and a local favorite for its cocktails. Don't knock it just cause they don't serve meat, it has delicious food for everyone!

Thai Spice is a great place to go if you're looking for non-American food in Laramie. It's also a good spot for bubble tea!

Prairie Rose is a classic breakfast/brunch spot in downtown Laramie, and one of the restaurants featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Just know there might be a long wait on the weekends!
