We have had the incredible privilege to grow up together.

We met in 2015 at Eagle Middle School, where we both enjoyed tormenting our math teacher.

In 2016, I arrived at Ice Cream Allie to meet a friend. Jaden happened to be working there part-time, and he kept me company as I waited. I can't remember if we had any ice cream, but we talked and laughed about anything and everything. Minutes turned into hours, but it felt like seconds. The sun had thoroughly set, and we stayed far past closing time dancing underneath the string-lights and stars. My friend never showed up, but now I had made a new one.

For nearly 9 years now, it has been us. We were together through high school & college, through every bad haircut & terrible dye-job, and through each new job & new city.

Jaden has always been there, in every way. He is my longtime best friend, my closest confidant, my own personal comedian, therapist, and chef.

It has been a privilege to grow up together.

Now, we are ready to grow old together.
