Our Wedding

Shannon and I met while working at Theisens of Marshalltown, and were friends for years before we started dating. Shortly after I moved to Iowa city, Shannon and I were spending most weekends together and began dating. We would always come to see each other on the weekends, and I would drive down during the summer to watch her play softball. But, since long distance sucks, Shannon eventually moved to Iowa City so we could be closer. Two months later I got a promotion and we soon found ourselves house shopping! We moved to New Vienna where we eventually bought our first home and added to our family when we adopted our cat, Villette. We learned to love each other even more while building a life and friends in our new home, and traveling to places like Florida, Washington DC, and Niagara Falls. We love weekends visiting family and friends, as well as staying home to watch new movies and play Pokémon. After getting engaged in our favorite pumpkin patch among friends, we are excited to get married and enjoy living as each other’s partners, and are ecstatic to tie the knot surrounded by our loved ones.
