What is August weather like in Whitmore Lake, MI?

For those who haven't experienced summer in Michigan, it truly is beautiful! Warm breezy weather is anticipated, with temperatures cooling down in the evening. In August, the average high in Whitemore Lake is 82 degrees, with average low of 65 degrees.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony will take place outside & the reception will be indoor/outdoor! Dinner will be outside but covered & will have fans to keep everyone cool. The bar & dance floor are indoors but opens right up to the lawn / outside area. There will be shelter in case of rain and temperature is easily regulated throughout the Venue.

Is there an open bar?

Yes, the bar is open! There will be options for domestic beer, craft beer, white & red wine, champagne, and spirits. Gratuity for the bartenders has been covered in advance!

What kind of food should guests expect?

BBQ! There will be a cocktail hour with an appetizer. For dinner, guests will have 2 meat choices, and 2 side choices. They can choose to have one or both of each option. Guests can also expect a late night snack!

What to expect for dinner service?

Dinner will be served buffet style! Guests will be called up to get their plate by table number.

What should guests wear?

The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal. Guests should wear something that will keep them cool & perhaps bring a light jacket as it tends to cool down in the evenings during the summer.

Will there be transportation?

Yes, a party bus will be picking up guests from the hotel & taking them to the venue & back. Times listed below. Departure From Hotel to Venue 4:00pm & 4:30pm Departure From Venue to Hotel Hourly from 8:00pm - 11:00pm

What is parking like at the venue?

There will be plenty of parking at the venue. Parking is completely free for guests.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes, the venue is suitable for handicap guests. There will be a golf cart available to help transport grandparents & any other guests needing assistance to & from the parking lot, as well as the restrooms if needed.

Are kids allowed?

Absolutely! Your babies are more than welcome! The venue doesn’t require an rsvp for children under the age of 2 but please feel free to bring them!
