Rahul and Saachi met in 2012, courtesy of Arya Dance Academy. In the beginning, they each stuck to their own friend groups, not knowing much about each other (other than their first names and dance skills). Then came time for their first dance competition together. After hours of practice, Saachi needed to give her feet a break and the only available seat was right next to Rahul. In that moment, the two formed an instant connection. It was as if the pair had found their other half. They became the bestest of friends and essentially inseparable.

After their dance careers, the two stayed close. Texting and facetiming every single day for the next five years. Despite the physical distance between Saachi and Rahul and the fact that they each led their own lives with their own friends, they both continued to consider each other their closest confidant and person to lean on.

As fate would have it, Saachi ended up at Rutgers where Rahul had already been studying for a year. This was the first time both of them were in the same location at the same time and boy did they take advantage of it. They hung out at every free moment they had and didn't go anywhere without each other. Friendship inevitably turned into love as they began to fall for each other. On April 14, 2018 Saachi and Rahul finally began dating, to absolutely no one's surprise.

Now as they embark on life as a married couple, they know they are lucky enough to have found their soulmate.
