Byron and I became friends in 6th grade and have been alongside each other since, despite him leaving me for Hawaii last year. He's been my translator throughout life and I don't know where I'd be without him.

Sam is my loving older brother, by 6 years and nine months. Although I'd cry when he picked me up as a baby, as I grew older he couldn't get me to leave him alone. I'm honored to have him stand beside me at my wedding.

My own personal Doctor Strange. From meeting in 11th grade to spending countless hours gaming together, our friendship has only grown stronger, especially now that he’s moved to the same city to be closer.

Some friendships are built to last — and mine with Alex is one I’ll always hold close to my heart. We met while going to school in downtown Baltimore, where she was my Vice President on the Campus Activities Board. From planning campus events to teaching STEM lessons and tutoring elementary students at a local nonprofit, we did it all together — and we always had each other’s back. College life wasn’t always glamorous, but we made it work. We’d combine what little money we had, split groceries, and come home to our dorm and cook together (ok ok I just watched most of the time) — tacos were my favorite. It wasn’t just about food; it was about friendship, survival, and making the most of every moment. I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in her wedding, and now I’m so grateful she’s standing beside me in mine. From dorm kitchens to wedding aisles, we’ve come a long way — and I couldn’t imagine this day without her.

It’s not every day you see a bridesman, but when your brother is one of your best friends, it just makes sense! Roderick is my brother, my lifelong protector, and one of the people who knows me better than just about anyone. Whether he's making us laugh at family dinners or offering solid advice when it counts, he's always been a steady, supportive presence in my life. He's the guy who shows up, keeps things real, and somehow manages to bring the perfect mix of calm and chaos to any situation (in the best way). Having him stand by my side on this special day is an honor — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

She may technically be a twin, but many people swear she looks more like me than her actual twin (we don’t argue — we’ll take it as a compliment!). Toy is the heart of our sibling crew, the glue that keeps us all connected, laughing, and grounded. Whether she’s organizing family get-togethers or making sure no one misses a birthday, she’s always the one holding us together in the best way. Having her by my side on this special day means the world to me, and I couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle without her support, love, and slightly better dance moves.

Next up is someone whose warmth, faith, and frosting skills make life so much sweeter — my beautiful sister and bridesmaid, Meka! Meka is not only the queen of baked goods (seriously, her cookies could win awards), but she’s also my prayer warrior — the one I turn to when I need encouragement, a good laugh, or a reminder to lean on faith. Her presence brings peace, her words bring strength, and her smile lights up every room she walks into. She’s been a constant source of support through life’s highs and lows, and having her by my side on this journey means more to me than she knows. So grateful she’s part of our day — and yes, we’re all hoping she brings snacks.
