Mary Elizabeth’s Point of View

Our love story is a little different that most, to tell the truth. Randall and I met in May of 2019 when I began working as a Bank Examiner at the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance, where Randy was currently employed as a Bank Examiner as well. The relationship started out as close friends and colleagues but didn’t take long to blossom into something more. Randy is one of those people quick to say hello and make others laugh, help others without them even asking, and is always genuinely interested in people’s lives. Randy has always made me feel safe, heard, and respected. We would spend hours talking to each other other about anything and everything when on the road for our jobs. Conversation just came so easily that I never wanted it to stop! What’s not to love, right? Soon after starting the new job I’d find myself talking about “Randy this” and “Randy that” to anyone who would listen. On September 4, 2019, we realized we had something very special and started dating after months of both wondering and asking close friends and family “Could he/she being feeling the same?” Over the past two years falling in love, we’ve been on countless adventures including overseas to Prague and Germany, traveling within the U.S. to places such as Colorado, Arizona, South Carolina, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, D.C, Texas, our personal favorite (Orlando!). During that time, we quarantined together during the pandemic (adopted our sweet fur babies Tiger and Lyla in the process), landed new federal jobs as Budget Analysts allowing us to live in Destin, FL, and recently received federal promotions in the D.C. area. A week after moving to Virginia for our new D.C. jobs, I came home to my apartment on a regular day to find the love of my life asking me to marry him! I said YES to the easiest question I’ve ever been asked on November 18, 2021. I am beyond lucky to say I get to spend forever with my best friend, and we will become Mr. and Mrs. Randall Edward Dias II this November! We hope you all enjoy this website and also hope to see you at the wedding!

Mary Elizabeth is the love of my life. I am absolutely blessed to be spending the rest of my life with her. She is sweet, kind, smart, and beautiful. While I could go on and on, I thought I would share with you some of our favorite adventure photos to sum up our journey together. Life is an adventure and I'm glad to be taking it with her.

We will not be doing a room block. The discounted rates given by the wedding and celebrations team at Disney tend to be higher priced than the discounts Disney runs regularly. It is highly encouraged to stay at least near Disney property (Disney Springs area for example) for transportation purposes to the ceremony. They do have hotel options for Marriott and a military hotel on property as well.

Room Block

Disney requires chartered transportation only to backstage Epcot for security check purposes. Each guest (other than bridesmaids, groomsmen, and immediate family ONLY) will be responsible for getting to the Wedding Pavilion parking lot to board our provided motor coach by 7:20 AM. If you have rented a car, you can park in the Wedding Pavilion parking lot. If you are taking a Lyft, Uber, etc. just have your driver drop you off at this location. The motor coach will leave promptly on time at 7:30 AM. If you are late to this pickup location once the bus leaves, you cannot attend the ceremony.

Charter based on 7:30am to 2:30pm *** Max (54) Passengers *** NOTE: Advise Guests to be at pickup location 5-10 minutes prior to pickup times listed below. 7:30am - Pick up All Guests at the Wedding Pavilion Parking Lot Transport to Epcot / Backstage AA / Security Backstage AA Hold at AA Backstage during Ceremony Transport Guests to Yacht Club Main Lobby for the Reception Be available for early departures at the top of each hour. (LAST early departure time will be at 1:00pm) 1:30pm - Event Ends / 1:45pm - Final Departure. Transport guests to the Wedding Pavilion 2:30pm - Charter to End

There are four theme parks to enjoy, especially if you are staying on Disney property - there is free transportation from those hotels!

Walt Disney World Parks

There are two parks at Universal Studios to enjoy! Usually daily ticket rates are cheaper than Disney tickets for 2 parks. Maybe we are a little biased since we are annual pass holders, but this is a great location for families and adults alike!

Universal Studios

Disney Springs Shops and restaurants are all included in this shopping area. Transportation is provided if staying on Disney property. Orlando Premium Outlets on Vineland About 10 minutes off Disney property, this outlet mall has all the big, brand name stores with huge discounts. Mall at Millenia The upscale mall in Orlando, about 20 minutes off Disney property.

There are countless options within the Disney area to choose from. We personally love staying in Disney Springs when we are visiting Disney (Hilton’s Doubletree Suites at Disney Springs is good in particular as an official Disney partnered hotel). There are also many hotels in the Universal part of Orlando if you are interested in visiting Universal Studios; Universal branded hotels are affordable and provide many perks. If you want to stay on Disney property, there are various Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but they will be pricey. For a more affordable option, we personally love Marriott’s Swan and Dolphin as well the new Swan Reserve. These are within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Water taxis are also provided as complimentary transportation to the parks. Shades of Green is a great option as well for those who have military family members. This resort is near to Magic Kingdom.

As stated in the travel section of the website, there is no room block reserved for our wedding.
