Q + A

What is the dress code?

We ask that guests come to the ceremony/reception in semi-formal/cocktail attire. Guests in jeans will be asked to leave and change before returning. Out of respect for the bride, please do not wear white pants/slacks, dresses, jumpsuits, etc. White dress shirts are allowed. There are walking paths (stone and cement) at the venue, however the ceremony will be held outdoors in a grassy area. Ladies, please be mindful of shoes with pointy/slim heels that may sink into the grass. It is recommended to use heel guards for the ceremony that can be removed for the reception if slim heels are worn (will not be provided).

Is the reception outdoors as well?

The cocktail hour following the ceremony will be held on the outdoor patio with access to the indoor reception area. A portion of the patio is covered and tables and chairs will be available to utilize. The reception (including dinner) will be taking place inside, while the patio will still be accessible throughout the night.

Are pictures allowed?

We ask that no pictures be taken during the wedding ceremony, as Emily and Randy have hired a wonderful photographer to capture the day. Pictures are welcome following the ceremony, during the cocktail hour and reception!

Will alcohol be provided?

An OPEN BAR will be available to all guests 21+ during the cocktail hour and reception. Guests will be asked to provide ID before being served. NO outside alcohol will be allowed on the venue premises. If any guests are observed drinking alcohol not served by a venue staff member, they will be asked to leave the venue and will not be allowed to return. This also applies to any guests that are giving drinks to guests who are underage. A tip jar will be available for the exceptional service.

Will food be served?

We will not be serving food/appetizers during the cocktail hour. Food will be served during the reception right after the bridal party introduction. Food will start with a plated salad and will then be available buffet style for all guests to enjoy. Personal food is allowed to be brought on the grounds of the venue if needed for guests. If personal food is brought in for dinner, guests can ask venue staff to plate it for them.

What time does the wedding start?

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm. All guests are asked to arrive no later than 5:00 pm to allow time for parking and to find a seat for the ceremony. If guests arrive after the ceremony begins, venue staff will kindly ask them to wait in a separate area of the venue so as not to interrupt the ceremony. Once the ceremony is finished, guests will be able to join the others for the cocktail hour.

Why is there not an address or venue location listed on the save the date or invitation?

We will be providing the address for the venue once we receive the RSVP for each guest. While we hope that all can attend, we do not wish for dinner to not be available for any guests who may not RSVP but still show to the venue. All guests must RSVP (either yes or no) to ensure an accurate count for food provided.

My invite only has me listed, am I allowed to bring a plus one?

While we would love for all invited to bring a guest or plus one, we do not have the space available for extra guests. We ask that all people invited do not bring extra guests with them. This also applies to children who are not listed on the invitation.
