Getting to Bali

From Singapore &amp; JB, Hong Kong:There are plenty of direct flights to Bali every day on Jetstar, Scoot, Air Asia, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines... From Paris:No direct flights from Paris to Bali at the moment. You will need to transfer through Dubai, Doha, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Delhi, Bangkok. Visa for Indonesia:- Malaysian, Singaporean, Hong Kong citizens do not need a visa for Indonesia and can stay for 30 days visa-free.- French, American &amp; many other nationalities can get a visa on arrival at Bali airport, which costs IDR 500,000 (US$ 31). Where to Stay

We recommend you to stay within the <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/UZHMhjtVAru2ynaM7" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bukit Peninsula / Uluwatu</a> at least for the day of the wedding. Bali is quite big and may have quite some traffic jams, due to its small roads and many tourists visiting. Located on the southern part of Bali, the Bukit Peninsula / Uluwatu is known for world-class surfing, dramatic limestone cliffs, stunning beaches, and the iconic Uluwatu Temple. In terms of accommodation, we recommend booking a villa on <a href="http://www.airbnb.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Airbnb</a>, <a href="http://www.agoda.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Agoda</a>, <a href="http://www.booking.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Booking.com</a>. There are villas for every budget, starting from US$50 or so. Villas provide more space, flexibility and usually a swimming pool. Most of the best-value villas tend to be located around the centre of the Bukit Peninsula, which is around 15 min to the wedding venue by taxi. There are also lots of hotels available for every budget. Other options a little bit further from the venue would be Jimbaran beach (20-25 min drive) and Nusa Dua (big resorts on the beach, more family-friendly, around 40 min drive). How to get around Bali

You should download the local ride hailing apps in order to order a car or scooter with a driver. Most rides cost just a few dollars.- <a href="https://www.grab.com/id/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Grab</a>- <a href="https://www.gojek.com/en-id" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Gojek</a> You can also rent a car with a driver from your hotel (US$30 - 50/day typically), especially if you want to do a lot of sightseeing and drive longer distances. Another good option is to rent a scooter from your hotel or a scooter shop and ride around by yourself (US$4 - 13/day). This is a good option, but better avoid riding a scooter by yourself on the wedding night or if you drink in general. August is Bali’s dry season, with warm, sunny days (27-30°C / 81-86°F) and low humidity—perfect for beach days and exploring. Pack light, breathable clothing, swimsuits, sandals, and sunglasses. Evenings can be slightly cooler, especially in Uluwatu, so a light jacket or shawl may come in handy.
