Raphael and Kaia met in the Fall of 2021 at a gap year program called OneLife. It didn’t take long for the two to become good friends and for Kaia to fall for Raph. Although Kaia was the first one to catch feelings, Raph was the one who had to put the work in to win her heart. Raph was rejected 3 times (one in a letter) before they both mutually decided to give a relationship a chance. Looks like the perseverance was well worth it looking back 3 years later :)

FUN FACT: Raphael proposed to Kaia at the same place they decided to date. At “The Potter’s Place” in Central SC.

Kaia and Raph are moved into a cozy home in Easley SC. Kaia will continue to manage coffee shops and Raph will continue working at church and running his business. The two hope to make their home a place where people can experience Jesus and find rest!

Babies? Well hopefully not anytime soon, but who knows… God is always full of surprises

Buying a house? Yeah, eventually. We just have to save up and wait for these interest rates to go down
