While working long hours as a nurse at Beth Isreal Needham emergency room, Raquel noticed Matt (a Norwood firefighter) bringing in patients here and there. It didn’t take her long to jump at the chance of starting a conversation with him, leading to their first date at Legacy Place. They shared the best summer together traveling, eating ice cream, going to the beach, etc. The more time they spent together, the more in love they fell. Things moved rather quickly and they soon found out that they were going to be parents to their now one year old daughter, Adrianna, who has given them a run for their money since being born at 26 weeks! You would think going through such a struggle at such an early stage in their relationship that they would break, however, it did nothing but mold them into a strong, loving and grateful team in which they know can take on anything. They could not be more excited for this next step in their lives and even more so to celebrate it with all of their closest friends and family.
