We met thought friend's not wanting to be in a relationship, but upon meeting everything changed. Our hobbies, goals, and aspirations were the same- she wanted a 20 million dollar home by the beach and I wanted a sail boat by the beach lol. Fast forward to January 01, 2023, I popped the question and now here we are. Simple as that!

One day, I was invited by a friend to attend this pool party. I was hesitant at first but decided to attend to distract myself . When I arrived to the party, I noticed a cute guy on a flamingo floatie inside the pool. He was holding a water gun and was using it as a paddle to get away from 10+ kiddos who were chasing him. I noticed his big kind smile, gentle dark-brown eyes, flowy hair, and muscles. I thought to myself "what a dork, but he's kinda cute tho". While I was not looking for a relationship, I also said to myself "hmm, he seems pretty chill... I should talk to him" lol. We talked all night and I came to the realization that we had a lot in common and a lot more chemistry! We both enjoyed music, traveling, and the simple pleasures of life (like good food lol). He asked to borrow my phone to play a song and ended up adding his contact information. He asked me on a date the following day and arrived in a flamingo print button-down shirt. This confirmed he was DEFINITELY a dork but MOST DEFINITELY, he was a keeper. I had prayed to God for a good man and soon I knew it was him. <3
