If you’re offered one, then yes! Otherwise we would like to make sure this party is full of people we know very well

It’s August in Maine so there’s a few possibilities. Most likely it will be mid to high 70s during the day and then cool down at night. There’s a chance we could have a summer rainstorm, but umbrellas will be available at the venue.

This is a semi formal event, but colors and fun encouraged! Please wear whatever will make you feel your most fabulous, and keep in mind that the venue is mostly grass and gravel, so a chunky heel will serve you best.

For the most part this will be an outdoor wedding. The dining area will be tented in the event of rain, and a large barn will hold drinks, dancing, and appetizers

The reception will all take place at Caswell’s Farm & Wedding Barn in Grey, Maine

The ceremony will begin at 4 o’clock on the dot. Please arrive before then to enjoy some champagne before settling in for the ceremony. If you do arrive late we just ask that you wait to join us until after the ceremony

Grey itself has a small handful of rental homes available, as well as some of the neighboring towns on your way to Portland. Portland is a little bit more metropolitan and has plenty of beautiful homes and hotels to offer. We will also be coordinating a shuttle for all of our guests staying there. The venue itself also has a huuuge field for anyone who is willing to camp. Those who can are highly encouraged to do so as it will only make our night and next morning that much more fun. If you want to camp but don’t have gear or someone to borrow from, let us know and we can coordinate some camping connections.

Yes there is plenty of parking in the third field (there will be signage to direct you day of). However all guests are highly encouraged to either use the shuttle that will be going between Grey and Portland, Uber, or pack your tent and spend the night!

We will ask that you stay in the moment and enjoy with us during the ceremony. We will have an amazing photographer to capture everything, and your phone could potentially ruin a beautiful shot
