It all started on a blind date in February 2021, when a mutual friend decided to play matchmaker. In true COVID fashion, our “first date” was a cozy night in; Cheyanne cooked chicken parmesan (Ray’s favorite dish), and Ray brought dessert: cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. The only catch? He showed up an hour and forty-five minutes late! Luckily, Cheyanne still gave him a chance, and it turned out to be totally worth it. We instantly clicked and spent the rest of the night talking, laughing, and realizing how easy it felt to just be together.

Fast forward to a few years later, Ray proposed at one of our favorite places, Cannon Beach. It was a complete surprise for Cheyanne (and Teddy, our fur baby, who was along for moral support). The weather may not have been perfect, but the moment was. We celebrated the following days with beach walks, bonfires, and plenty of delicious food and drinks. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate our next adventure, getting married!
