Our Non-Traditional Wedding

We know many of our loved ones will be traveling to attend our wedding. With that in mind, we felt it important to explain our wedding will not be like most you’ve attended in the past. After years of being engaged and going back and forth about what we envision for our wedding day, we decided on an intimate wedding that best highlights our personalities and priorities.

Our wedding guest list is extremely limited to include only those closest to us. Therefore, if your invitation only lists your name, please plan to attend on your own if you’ll be joining us. Not to worry though, as we’re sure you’ll find people you recognize!

Now for the wedding itself. We have planned a small and short ceremony. Following the ceremony, we invite you all to join us at one of our local favorites for a large family-dinner. In lieu of a traditional reception, we want to spend the entire time with you all enjoying some of the best pizza Charlotte has to offer.

If this doesn’t sound like your type of event or you’re not sure it warrants travel to Charlotte, we completely understand! While we certainly want you to celebrate with us, we recognize everyone has their own lives and priorities. Either way, thank you for being part of our love story.
