Do we start with the will they won't they stuff or dive into May 9th 2018?

Well.

You know when your heart just tells you when you have found the right person? Did you ever just listen to it or did you choose to ignore it as these two did for so many years? As one might say "A dream is a wish your heart makes"..

Too many years were wasted with these two as "just friends". Going months without contacting one another only to pick it back up as though they hadn't stopped talking before. Watching one another go through bad decisions, but always having each other's backs with good intentions at heart?

Were you ever married symbolically for a church service? Was your love ever tested on the second date when she stole a piece of your steak?

(In his mind it was half when it really was not.)

After years and years of asking she finally said yes, well actually she asked him.

And thus starts their relationship. Officially.

Have you gotten the chance to visit another country with each other? Or various of different states? Fun trips sure do make for some great memories. Do you spend nights laying on a trailer with blankets and pillows, watching as the stars shot across the sky? How many days have you spent doing the activities your significant other enjoys just to see their face light up as a car drifts by?

How far would you go to pick up the cutest thing in the world? After 6 hours of driving to Texas and back home, together, they welcomed a loving pup into their hearts.

What about the small moments us adults take for granted? A peck on the cheek, your hand brushes theirs as you stroll down a sidewalk, the butterflies that take flight when they smile, the twinkle in their eyes as they laugh? Keep each moment near and dear to you. It only takes a moment and love will find a way.

All of this to lead us where we are now. A celebration of two people deciding that they don't want to let it go.

Looks as though rollercoasters aren't the only risks these two are willing to take. Now they have decided that after five years, it's time to level up.

It was on September 8th 2023, a hot day in Florida, specifically, in Disney World. She was sick and he decided to take "in sickness and in health" to a different level. Though he may not have understood when to drop the knee at the right time (the photopass lady did give him a couple of hints), he didn't drop the ball on the proposal. The timing and the setting weren't what she'd thought they'd be, but it was truly a day of extra magic.
