When & Where Do I RSVP?

Please RSVP on our website under the "RSVP" tab by December 1st. Our vendors have requested an earlier date for final headcounts to allow for plenty of time for orders around the holidays. We appreciate your understanding!

What if I can't make it?

We will miss having you there on our big day, but we completely understand that everyone is not going to be able to make it. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

I can't attend all events - Is that okay?

Of course! Come when you can – just don’t forget to RSVP “no” to events you won’t be able to attend.

Can I bring a guest?

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can I bring my kids?

If your kids are listed in the "RSVP" section, then we would love to have your little ones! We just ask that you remove them from the ceremony if they are disruptive and keep a close eye on them during the reception.

Do you have a registry?

We are so excited to celebrate with you. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items to help us kickstart our life together. Our registry can be found under the "Registry" tab. There are registries through Dillards, Pottery Barn, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Pampered Chef, and The Knot Shop.

What is the dress code?

We want everyone to feel confident and comfortable, so please wear something that makes you feel great!

What shoes should I wear?

Our ceremony and reception are at indoor venues, so you don't have to worry about your heels sinking into the grass. We do request that you wear your dancing shoes so that you can join us on the dance floor all night long!

What will the weather be like?

Although we can't predict the exact weather, temperatures in Midland in January are typically around a high in the high 50s to low 60s and lows in the mid 30s. There is a chance of precipitation, but it is usually unlikely to be very much.

Where should I stay?

We have a room block at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Midland. This hotel is right across the street from the reception venue and just down the street from the ceremony. It is the perfect place to stay for the weekend! Please see our Travel Page for more information on booking your stay.

Will transportation be provided?

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the reception venue is only a couple blocks from the ceremony location, and there is plenty of parking available. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking and Uber or Lyft.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of parking on site. Please see our Parking Page for more detailed parking details.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

For the ceremony please arrive between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm, and we don't want you to miss a second of our perfect day.

Can I take photos?

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones or other devices during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos the rest of the night! We ask that you use our wedding hashtag, #comingupcoleman, when you post any pictures so that we can enjoy them too.

What happens after the ceremony?

After we say "I do," we welcome you to join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing at the Bush Convention Center Ballroom. The reception will begin at 5:00 pm and the dinner buffet will open at 5:30.

Can I smoke on the property?

The venues are both smoke free, this includes vaping. However, you are welcome to smoke outside the venues in appropriate areas.
