It was December 24, 2016! We went to the Christmas Eve evening service at 11PM where we sang Christmas songs and had a great time serving the Lord for his Birthday!! Then once we got home I was ready to hit the hay and get some rest for the long day we had ahead of us but he was like no you can't go to bed yet we have one more family tradition to do before we go to bed I was like, "ok let me put my purse up and get out of my heels." So I come up stairs and he gave me my first Christmas present which was a new Fitbit band because mine had broke! I have to say I was pretty happy about it bc mine broke in half and was being held together by tape! It's cute because it has hearts all over it! ;) then he's like But I love you and got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him!? I was speechless and looked over at his mom as she was videotaping it and said yes! Oh my Gosh yes!! And cried for a good few minutes! And I have to say I haven't slept that good in such a long time!!

Nathan had added me on Facebook and we started talking on and off and after time we just hit it off! One day he asked to hang out and we fell more for each other and the days just seem to get shorter! I had just gotten out of a horrible relationship not even looking for a relationship or anything to do with takeing care of somebody or love for another person for a very very long time! But there was somethin about Nathan that just changed my mind despite all the things I hve been threw over the last year and a half. In a way I look at it Nathan as saving me from more than just hateing myself and hating the world that I live in! He help me understand to not take crap from anybody! He has made me a better person and has helped me become the strong independent young woman I am today! He helped me get that back!!
