In the middle of the COVID pandemic, how else’s are you supposed to meet people but go online. That’s how our story begins. March of 2021, both of us went to Facebook dating… yes they have a dating service… neither of us looking for anything too serious both swiped right. It was a match! We started talking starting on Facebook then moved to Snapchat and texting. A mere coincident that we were both in Rochester on the same day, where our first meeting was in Lowe’s. Gotta be safe and meet in a public place. Next meeting wouldn’t be for another month after a COVID vaccine. From then on, hanging out started to become an every weekend event. Then August 25, 2021 while waiting for a table at Olive Garden, our simple hanging out became official dating; girlfriend and boyfriend. Many more adventures were had, until May 28, 2023 where Matthew popped the question at the family lake house in front of her family. The answer was yes through tears of joy! Now starts the rest of our lives!
