Rebecca and Mardi met at a Kroger in Little Elm. They lived in the same city, went to the same schools, and then started working in the same Kroger. They have never crossed paths until one day Mardi caught Rebecca's eye. She was a cashier and he was a humble stock boy. Rebecca wanted an excuse to talk to him and she always went out of her way to ask him were things were located in the store (she knew where everything was). They began dating and eventually fell in love.

Fast forward to a second Colorado trip to visit his family and Mardi planned his proposal. He devised a plan with his aunt, who is a professional photographer, and created the perfect snowy day that changed their life forever.
