To get to the cruise ship, guests can either fly or drive to Port Canaveral! For flying, guests will book flights to Orlando International airport and then either take Disney Cruise Line transfers or other transportation to the port. Ask the bride about her recommendations! Brooks, Rebecca and some family members will be flying out the night before on Southwest Airlines and staying in a hotel near the port! The bride, groom and family will be flying out to Orlando International Airport on 5/19/2024 on Southwest flight #4293 from 7:10AM-9:40AM into Atlanta. We then fly from Atlanta to Orlando (MCO) on Southwest flight #2891 from 10:40AM and arriving into Orlando at 12:15PM. Please contact the bride with your arrival plans. She will be setting up transportation services to/from Port Canaveral. As for coming home (BOO!), the bride, groom and family will be flying from Orlando to New Orleans on a direct flight via Southwest airlines #5591 from 5:25PM to 6:20PM.
If driving to the port, it is a 9h55 min drive to the port from downtown NOLA! Parking fees will be required for the duration of the cruise! Ask the bride about this!
Since most guests are doing several different things (coming in the day of the cruise, going to Disney or Universal before, etc) there will be no room block. Rooms are starting around $230 for a 2 queen room studio suite for the night. Hotel features a pool, full breakfast, and shuttle to the cruise port for $10 per person the morning of the cruise. This is where the bride, groom and Buhrer family will be staying. The Hampton Inn is attached to the hotel and offers traditional hotel rooms (that aren't suites). For guests who will be flying from NOLA. The bride, groom and family will be on Southwest Airlines. We are leaving Louis Armstrong on Sunday, 5/19/24 on the 7:10AM flight (SW#4293) that has a layover in Atlanta (1hr) and arrives into Orlando at 12:15PM. We will be coming home on Friday, 5/24/24 on a nonstop flight leaving Orlando at 5:25PM and arriving into New Orleans for 6:20PM (SW#5591)
