People often use the quote, " You were in the right place at the right time to meet." Well, as for us, our story started with the right swipe at the right time. Many people don't know but Christopher and I started talking via Facebook Dating. Early September 2021 we matched, and instantly started messaging. Most dating app conversation is very repetitive and very bland, but not for Christopher and I. We talked about our jobs, dreams and family right off the bat. We then began to FaceTime for hours on end continuing to grow our friendship. On October 22, 2021 we officially met in person and as they say, "the rest was history"! With each coming day we became closer and closer. While it wasn't always easy with his job demands, our love for one another held strong. We moved in together about 8 months in and it was the best decision EVER. You truly never know someone until you live together. We celebrated so many changes, anniversaries, promotions, job changes, traveling adventures, sporting events and life together. On June 15th, 2023, in our favorite place, the beach, he proposed! I said YES and now our story will continue on! It truly was the best swipe of my life because we gained one another!
